Wenzel America, Ltd. announced today they will be updating and streamlining their online user experience by consolidating the OpenDMIS. com, Xspectsolutions.com and Xspect.com micro sites under their www.wenzelamerica.com main site starting in August 2014.
“Having two separate websites for our Pre-Owned/Remanufactured machines and the OpenDMIS software was not serving our customers needs as best we could,” said Andy Woodward, President of Wenzel America.
“We decided to incorporate all the valuable information on those sites into our main website to make it easier for our customers to find the services and products they need and get the answers they want, as fast as possible.”
The new Wenzel America site will have a dedicated Pre-Owned CMM page with an updated list of available machines as well as the ability to submit “wish list” machines to the Pre-Owned buyer team. There will also be dedicated pages for their innovative, object-based programming OpenDMIS software.
According to Wenzel’s Business Development Manager, Patrick Lanthier, “The new OpenDMIS pages will contain pertinent product information along with an ‘on-call’ Help Desk for questions and trouble shooting.”
“We’ll also be building up a comprehensive FAQ for the most common issues and will continue adding content that will help the thousands of OpenDMIS users get the most from our product.”
The centralization of the Xspect Solutions and OpenDMIS brands’ websites under the WenzelAmerica.com home will further improve customer satisfaction and the personalized service Wenzel America has become known for as a leading North American metrology company. The current domains for Xspect and OpenDMIS will seamlessly re-direct to their new URLs without affecting the customer at all.
