Optical CMMs—also known as vision measuring machines—are a 3D measurement system with 3-vertical-axis movement. This machine allows us to construct a spatial coordinate system. Coordinate points are detected by sensors which include vision sensors such as CCD or CMOS camera or laser probes.
We have a large range of high speed optical CMMs for shop floor measurement of turbine blades, medical implants and similar parts. Our optical CMM allows for 3D inspection of all parts. Measurements include lengths, angles, diameters and spheres—just to name a few possibilities. These non-contact machines are highly accurate and perform even the most complex of dimensional inspections.
CORE M is a 6-axis, optical CMM system ideal for measurement of medium to the largest turbine or fan blades or any other parts with polished, reflective surfaces and sharp edges.
CORE S is a 5-axis, optical CMM system ideal for measurement of small to medium turbine blades, medical implants or any parts with polished, reflective surfaces and sharp edges.
