We will be attending the 30th edition of the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) September 8-13th in Chicago.
This year’s show is going to be huge. It is estimated that there will be 100,000 attendees and over 2,000 exhibitors. Displays will include the latest in machine tools, control systems, computers, software, data management, and systems and process tools that can improve efficiency and manufacturing capabilities.
Wenzel will be there in force. You can find us in three different places actually, depending on what metrology solution you need – CMMs, Gear Measuring or 3D Non-Contact scanning. You can see our cutting edge machines in each of these three measuring areas at three different booths.
Our main showcase will be located in the QA Pavilion at booth # E-5698, where our display will be centered around high accuracy, non-contact metrology. We will feature our computer tomography (CT) system and the exaCT XS. You’ll also be able to see the Wenzel XOrbit 55 CMM, fitted with our newest Phoenix II white light sensor.
This year we also have shared space with the gold standard in sensor technology, Renishaw. We will showcase the precision and accuracy at the core of both our companies with our newest LH Generation CMM fitted with a Renishaw REVO 5 Axis Scanning Probe. You can find Renishaw’s booth #E-5510, in the QA area of the East Hall.
Finally, building on our 2013 partnership with Liebherr Gear Technology, Inc., Wenzel will be hosted at their booth #N-6930 in the Gear Generation Pavilion where we’ll highlight our newest WGT gear measuring machines, the WGT-400.
