WENZEL and VisiConsult announce cooperation in the field of CT-metrology
Stuttgart, 4 May 2022 – The WENZEL Group and VisiConsult signed a cooperation agreement for a development and sales partnership. With this, the successes achieved so far in the field of measurement technology solutions based on computed tomography (CT) are to be further expanded together.
“The essential aspects of our partnership lie in the joint development towards a product range tailored for industrial metrology based on CT technology.” explains Lennart Schulenburg, managing partner at VisiConsult. He sees enormous advantages for users in combining the know-how of both companies for the development, production, and realization of the joint product portfolio.
“By using existing synergies in purchasing, development and production and concentrating on the respective core competences of VisiConsult and WENZEL, the attractiveness of the CT solutions we offer will be significantly increased for the customer”, explains Dr. Heike Wenzel.
Dr. Heike Wenzel, the Managing Director of the WENZEL Group hopes that this will result in a significantly higher market share for both partners. Especially because the CT market is rapidly growing within the metrology industry.

The goal of the two medium-sized family-owned companies is a long-term cooperation in the design, production, and marketing of holistic CT solutions, in which metrology plays an essential role in the system solution. The ultimate goal is to provide an excellent product to our customers. VisiConsult is a specialist in X-ray image processing and automation. The company’s focus is on standard X-ray booths and customized special systems as well as the development of software for the operation of these systems, in image processing and automatic defect recognition (ADR).
